Snow Atlanta and Baby 2014

We got more than we thought we would get and have enjoyed being "snowed" in for the last 2 days!  Tuesday morning around 10 am the snow was falling fast and sticking to the roads.  I know it was a matter of time before the call came from MP that school would be closing.  They called at 11:30 for pick up at 12:30...  I decided to head out early to get ahead of carpool.  I am SO glad I did bc a friend was 30 minutes behind me and she was stuck in her car with her kids for 4 hours...  Complete chaos and it all happened so fast.  Jays 2 hour commute home didn't seem so bad after hearing for 10+hour commutes, or those who slept in their cars, or those who weren't able to get to their kids...  So scary but proud of all the amazing stories I keep hearing from Good Samaritans.  

Thankful our BFFs live in our neighborhood so we could enjoy the chaos together!

Big news from the Henderson house...  Baby H will be joining us late July/early August!  We are excited, especially Ellie since she has been "wishing" for a baby!  We are 13 weeks along and praying for an easy pregnancy!  Bets are on for what this booger is...  I am leaning pink!  We will find out in March!

At least 3 inches in Marietta!  It was so powdery just like Colorado :) we even decked ourselves out in our ski gear considering it hasn't been used since 2010 :( maybe next year...

2014 is off to a fast start for us...  Can't believe we will say hello to February this weekend.  

Ellie's social calendar has been keeping us busy with multiple birthday parties each weekend.  

We celebrated our annual ADPi Girls weekend at the beach this year and jay surprised me for an early birthday - Rascal Flatts in Auburn!

New Years at the beach and the first few weeks of 2014

We finished out our holiday break with a nice, relaxing trip to PCB!  We stayed through New Years and then headed to Chula, GA (home of the Womack Family) for a night!  It was freezing but we enjoyed lots of rest and good food!  We rang in 2014 with Pap and Tappy at one of the best restaurants in PCB - Firefly!  If you are in the area - try it out and make sure to save room for the blueberry bread pudding!  Worth every calorie!
