Wish we all lived closer...

We were so excited to celebrate Chris and Emily's wedding in Auburn a few weeks back.  Such a fun weekend being in such a happy place - Auburn, and with best friends!  Weekends like this make you realize how much you appreciate your college friends.  These are some of my favorite girls and we always pick up right where we left off...

Here we are...  Ellie started what may be "her" real school in just 2 short years.  They offer PK-3 and PK-4... Makes me excited to think that she might be here for the next 15 years (and sad bc I will be working that long to keep her there :)

We had to make a change this year due to restructuring at the CEE - where she has been since she was 3 months old.  While we were so sad to leave her friends and teachers, we were equally as happy to meet new friends - particularly more girls!!!  I can't say enough good about MP.  I remember pre-Ellie visiting MP to recruit for AU and hoping one day to send my own child there.  The students, teachers, administration, parents, etc are just good people.  It's definitely more "school-like" and much more structured which will take getting used to, but Ellie loves it so far and so do we!

We had such a fun weekend celebrating my wonderful Mom and hanging with our BFFs!  Ellie and Griffin had a great time at the lake despite the water being choppy!

Well, vacation started out on a sour note...  My iPhone went swimming :( It's now a brick so I am using only my iPad.  Not so bad...  I am realizing life goes on without FB and Instagram updates.  Jay takes far fewer pics so we have to work with what we have...  I'm really missing it most for music when i run each morning.  Yes, I have been that person running with their iPad with headphones...  Silly but it gets the job done!

We started off our vacay with a stop at Pap and Tappy's house while Jay worked an event in Andalusia.  We have swam, ate, fished, ate, picked blackberries, ate, loved on Pap and Tappy, played with Cameron... you get the point - this family loves to eat and it is always delicious!  We head to the beach tonight and to say we are excited is an understatement!  Heath, Kelly, and the kids will join us on Wednesday and that's when the real fun will begin with a condo full of cousins :)
